DMARC Record Generator

Create a DMARC TXT record with policy, alignment, and aggregate reporting settings.

Enter the exact domain or subdomain. Do not include https:// or a path.

Separate multiple addresses with commas. Use a dedicated reporting mailbox or service.

Records are generated here; nothing is published to your DNS automatically.

How to publish a DMARC record

  1. Start with the monitoring policy p=none and configure reporting.
  2. Create or update the single TXT record at _dmarc.yourdomain.com. Some DNS providers need only _dmarc in the name field.
  3. Check publication using the DMARC checker and review reports before changing enforcement.

What does monitoring do?

Example: v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:reports@example.com; requests reports without asking receivers to quarantine or reject mail because of DMARC failure.

Does DMARC guarantee delivery?

No. Receivers apply their own policies. DMARC passes when at least one of SPF or DKIM passes with the required alignment to the visible From domain.

Can reports go to another domain?

Yes, but the report destination may need to authorize your domain through DNS. Confirm this with your reporting provider.
